Misdemeanors

  1. Class A Misdemeanors

    1. Assault: Up to 1 year in county jail and/or a fine up to $4,000.
    2. Burglary of a Vehicle: Up to 1 year in county jail and/or a fine up to $4,000.
    3. DWI (Driving While Intoxicated): Up to 1 year in county jail and/or a fine up to $4,000.
    4. Theft (property valued between $750 and $2,500): Up to 1 year in county jail and/or a fine up to $4,000.
    5. Possession of Marijuana (2-4 ounces): Up to 1 year in county jail and/or a fine up to $4,000.

  2. Class B Misdemeanors

    1. DWI (Driving While Intoxicated): Up to 180 days in county jail and/or a fine up to $2,000.
    2. Criminal Trespass: Up to 180 days in county jail and/or a fine up to $2,000.
    3. Possession of Marijuana (up to 2 ounces): Up to 180 days in county jail and/or a fine up to $2,000.
    4. Theft (property valued between $100 and $750): Up to 180 days in county jail and/or a fine up to $2,000.
    5. Indecent Exposure: Up to 180 days in county jail and/or a fine up to $2,000.

  3. Class C Misdemeanors

    1. Public Intoxication: Fine up to $500.
    2. Minor in Possession of Alcohol: Fine up to $500, possible alcohol awareness class, community service, and suspension of driver’s license.
    3. Simple Assault: Fine up to $500.
    4. Disorderly Conduct: Fine up to $500.
    5. Petty Theft (property valued under $100): Fine up to $500.
